A pagan friend who was active on LJ at the time tuned me into it. It seemed like a fun new toy to have an on-line journal. Since then, it's become an invaluable tool for getting to know people better and interact with Wiccan/pagan society on a much broader scale. It also enables people to get to know me better, which is nice both on a personal level and as a Tradition priestess, as I am an approachable personae in a way that wasn't available 10-20 years ago.
