Our beloved Labrador, Hunter, passed away this afternoon of a heart attack. He was 7 years old and undergoing heartworm treatment.

There is always a risk during the treatment, but he'd had no side effects and everything was going incredibly well, so this is quite a shock.

He was not alone. Boni & I were both with him, talking him through to the other side. He lifted his head to my voice, and wagged his tail to Boni's.

I have so much in my heart, but it's too painful right now.
