Brokaw just seemed to have to officially given up on enforcing the rules.

How would McCain have the federal government buy up bad mortgages from landowners and replace them with lower cost, fixed-rate mortgages, and simultaneously have a spending freeze?

When would Obama order military action? Do we know? Does he know? I don't know.

McCain answered questions more directly. Obama was too abstract.

Too little action plans, too much personal attack. This is the first debate I wandered out of at several points.
