weirdest food you've ever had
I heard on our local news station this morning the latest "weird food I've eaten" entry from viewers. It was a mayonnaise, peanut butter and onions sandwich (the poor morning anchors have to chow down on said weird food on the air - what a way to start the day). The other one was a sliced red beets and ketchup sandwich. The second one actually got a "not half bad" from the weatherman.

So, what's the strangest food combo you've ever had (and/or continue to eat)?

One of my favorite combos when I was younger was mayo, peanut butter, lettuce, and cucumber sandwiches...

Actually, onions, peanut butter, and onion sounds pretty good. I'll have to try it!

I learned from Mr. Rogers to eat bananas with American cheese and I have also tried mustard on bananas.

But, I will try almost anything!

All through High School, I took peanut butter and Parmesan cheese (Kraft canned sprinkle on the spaghetti type) sandwiches for lunch. The couple friends I convinced to try a bite ended up liking it. One actually started bringing them for lunch also. I still eat a couple a year.
Another 'odd' combo that I still eat regularly is blue cheese dressing, blue cheese crumbles and pickles on toasted bread sandwich. It's one of those things that may sound odd but is _really_ super yummy.

We have "nibbly-munch" snacks consisting of sardines in oil, olives, crackers, and little pickles. Yum!
