hello from friend in san antonio

Hello,
I was reading some of your journal and tried to look at your myspace page for a little more details.
I also live in San Antonio. I teach nursing at one of the local universities and this is the first time i have tried using the online journal. It seems cool though.

I have two sons (who obviously keep us busy) but are also fairly patient with me as I try to learn more about my own intuition and spirituality. I have been learning more and more about Wicca over the last several years, but put it on hold while I was working over time in 2007 so that my partner could stay home with the youngest. I am trying to get back into it though.

Would you mind directing me toward a good start? I have several books, but I'd like to get to know some other folks that could sort of "show me the way". I have also gone to a couple of tarot classes at the unlimited thought and enrichment center. I learned a lot, but like I said, I am out of practice. When I google it..not much pops up for our town.

I'm not a stalker and it won't hurt my feelings if I don't hear back from you, but I thought it worth a try since you have been practicing for many years and have raised your family without too much trouble. : )

I have both a Witches' and Wiccan Meetup once a month; the Wicca one would probably suit you best. Will send you the link when I get home, as my work blocks the Meetup site. :P

I maintain the S.A. Pagans community web site, which has a bunch of info on it about gatherings, but we're having host problems so it's temporarily down. I'll get the Meetup links to you manually.
