It's been a great 4 days off; today is day 5, the last one. *sigh* The time went SO quickly!

Going to see "Up" today, and we have a 30% chance of rain. At least we can count on a movie. ;)

Goddess bless this nation of ours as we go forth with a new administration. Let's bring that American spirit to the forefront and work together to get ourselves self-reliant, older and wiser about our resources and our focus. And remember to slap on some sunscreen too!

We're all in the house today, staying out of the humidity. The belching contest has commenced between husband and teen. A few have scared the dog.

Whatever your views on her acting abilities or career, she was a courageous woman who played out a very private battle under a very public microscope. She shared her struggle with cancer in a way that stripped the "blonde beauty icon" label away, and revealed a touching, gritty, determined soul.

RIP, Farrah. May your strength on this journey be the inspiration to others that you hoped it would be.
